Narcos fans will be happy! This bar opened Oct 2016 but we only learned of it this Thursday when we passed by it accidentally. Being Narcos fans, we had to visit it!
As it was spontaneous and I only had like 10 minutes to prepare, I decided to wear minimal makeup:
The bar was small and cozy but well-appointed for the theme. There were murals inside and one large mural outside of a woman who I am not sure who it’s supposed to be. It wasn’t crowded but for a weekday night, there was a decent turnout.
We only ordered Sisig del Pablo and Las Parillas — grilled chicken isaw (intestines), gizzard, and pork ears. I was driving so I couldn’t drink alcohol.
The sisig was delicious! Crispy with a different flavor than the usual sisig, I’m sure it would have worked well with beer.
The Las Parillas tasted herby and was served with hot sauce and an herb dip. I wasn’t a fan of it. I prefer my laman-loob (entrails) with vinegar!
We couldn’t finish the entire serving portions so we brought them home — yes, in the Philippines we take leftovers home! — and Roxy brought it for baon (lunch) the next day at work. Her co-workers LOVED both! So while I personally wasn’t a fan of the Las Parillas, other people were. They even vowed to visit it themselves because it was that good.
They had a wide selection of cocktails available. It’s just too bad I wasn’t able to try any of them! Check out their menu HERE.
It was definitely a good drinking spot so check it out for yourselves! We’re definitely coming back.
